Puppy Preschool

Do you have a new puppy and need to know where to start? Feeling a little overwhelmed with your new family member? We are here to help! Our Puppy Preschool will lay the foundation for a well-behaved dog and healthy relationship for you and your pup. This five-session program will get you and your pup started off on the right foot and paw. The first months of a puppy’s life is a critical learning period that shapes your dog’s behavior and future. Many behavioral issues can be avoided with an early start to training and socialization. This can help save time and money by minimizing behaviors that are difficult to change once a dog is older and has made them a habit.

You and your puppy will learn a solid foundation of basic obedience commands such as sit, down, stay, heel, place, leave it, recall and more. We cover crate training, potty training and everything else that comes along with integrating your new family member.

Age: 8 weeks to 6 mos

Basic & Advanced Obedience

We offer in-home basic and advanced obedience packages. Each package is customized for each client and can include any combination of the following. Advanced obedience can include off-leash recall and remote collar training as well as proofing basic obedience in high distraction areas.

Trick Training

Trick training is a fun and fantastic way to build a bond and relationship with your dog. It improves communication between dog and human, and if you work toward earning trick titles, you can set goals and work to achieve them as a team. Trick training can build confidence in nervous or anxious dogs and helps keep dogs active both physically and mentally. Dogs Evolved’s trick training program is based on positive reinforcement training methods and we can help you achieve your trick titles and have tons of fun along the way! What you learn in trick training will lay a foundation that applies to other areas of training, including obedience and behavior modification. Working toward trick training goals helps dogs and owners work together and learn to communicate and understand each other better.

Day Training

If you don’t quite have the time needed to train your dog, or your dog has a lot of work to do, our Day Training may be a great option for you. We take your dog during the day and work on setting training foundations for you. While you will have to integrate the training in your day to day with your dog, we can take care of the heavy lifting and save you time. Transfer sessions are included in all Day Training packages, where we’ll go over all we’ve worked on in detail and how you can get the same results with your dog. Day training can include outings to public places such as parks, dog-friendly stores, hiking trails, busy city trails and more.

You’ve decided to include your best four-legged friend in your wedding, but you need someone to give full attention to your pet to make sure they stay out of trouble, get where they need to be, get potty breaks, and maybe even get to and from the wedding. This can be quite a job and you don’t want to enlist a friend or family member because you want them to be fully present during your special day. That’s where we can help! We can take care of transport, treats, potty breaks/clean up, water and bowls, wardrobe assistance, aisle escorting, handling/assisting for photos, and all the other things you don’t have time to worry about on your big day. As part of any wedding package, we do require a Meet & Greet to get a feel for your furry friend’s behavior and any special needs so we can do our best job during your big day.

Full day, half day or hourly packages available.

Our day hikes are offered to our training clients who have well- mannered and active dogs. Our hikes are often done in packs and provide socialization for dog-friendly canines. If your dog’s energy level is such that a regular walk doesn’t quite fill their energy needs and need for adventure, our hikes may be of great benefit!

Temporary disruption to your normal schedule? Long work days or long hours away from home? Perhaps you are healing from an injury or surgery and need someone to take over a few activities with your dog. Perhaps you just want to get away for a day and can’t take Fido with you and need someone to let your pal out or take them for a walk. Whatever the reason for your temporary need for assistance, we’re here to help give you a break by stepping in when life has plans you didn’t foresee. We provide in-home services so that your dog can enjoy stress-free service from the comfort of their own home.
